Chasing 147 runs, the Men in Blue crossed the finishing line in 19.4 overs, with Tilak Varma scoring an unbeaten 69 runs off 35 runs, with the help of 4 sixes and 3 boundaries. He was assisted by Shivam Dube (33 off 22) and Sanju Samson (24 off 21). For Pakistan, Faheem Ashraf took three wickets.

It was India’s 9th Asia Cup title, and the team remained unbeaten in the just-concluded edition of the tournament. They defeated Pakistan thrice and Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Oman, and the UAE once in the Continental Cup.
