A political dispute occurred on Thursday in Jamnagar, Gujarat, which involved three prominent female leaders of the BJP. Rivaba, the wife of Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, was at the centre of the altercation. Rivaba argued with Mayor Bina Kothari and MP Poonam Maadam. The video of the heated exchange has gone viral on social media.
Rivaba engaged in a dispute with Mayor Bina regarding some matters which got recorded on camera. Following this, Bina Kothari advised Rivaba to remain calm and not act overly. This statement caused Rivaba to become extremely upset, leading to a heated argument between the two. Things went out of hands when Rivaba used ‘Aukat’ word for other MPs. Poonam Maadam attempted to intervene as the controversy continued to escalate.
The footage that has been doing rounds shows the leaders engaging in a heated argument in the presence of workers and police officers. It is said that the conflict occurred during a program in Jamnagar. During the altercation, Rivaba said, “Aukat mein Raho (Mind your status)” which sparked a major controversy. Here is the video.
