Harbhajan Singh has praised Rajasthan Royals (RR) leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal for his brilliant bowling display.

Rajasthan Royals and Team India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has shared shocking details about an incident that happened with him during the Indian Premier League in 2013. Chahal, who was with Mumbai Indians, stated that he was hung from the balcony of a 15th-floor building by a drunk player.

In a video shared by the Rajasthan Royals on social media, Chahal talked about the incident with his teammate Ravichandran Ashwin and added that he would have died.

“I never told this story. The incident dates back to 2013 when I was with Mumbai Indians, and we had a match in Bangalore. After the game, there was a get-together, and a very drunk player took me out. I will not reveal his name. He hung me on the balcony,” said Chahal.

“And my hands were around his neck. Had I lost my grip, I would have fallen from the balcony. Suddenly many people came and handled the situation. I fainted, and they gave me water. That incident changed my life as I had a narrow escape. Had there been slightest mistakes, I would have fallen,” he explained.

Chahal was bought by the Rajasthan Royals for Rs 6.5 crore at the IPL 2022 mega auction in February.
