Mumbai Indians have lost seven matches in a row, a dubious record never achieved before in IPL. Former India player and current mentor of the five-time champions, Mumbai Indians, Sachin Tendulkar has backed the franchise.

He feels the current lot is young and new, which needs time to perform as a group. According to one of the greatest batters, they would learn from their mistakes and the players should stick together and then ride as a team.

“The results haven’t been in our favour as we have lost crucial sessions. There have been times when we are defeated in close games. All the teams go through such experience,” said Sachin Tendulkar.

MI lost to Chennai Super Kings by 3 wickets is last night’s game. They are almost out of the play-off race in IPL 2022.
