Mumbai Indians are the first team to be knocked out of the playoff race in IPL 2022 after losing eight matches in a row.

A photo of Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun, posted by five-time champions Mumbai Indians a day before their last IPL 2022 match against Lucknow Super Giants, had created a buzz on social media, with many predicting a debut for the young player.

The all-rounder has been impressive in the net sessions and is making all the right noises to get his maiden cap in the league.

Ahead of MI’s next contest against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings, Arjun Tendulkar dismissed MI opener Ishan Kishan with a deadly yorker.

Mumbai Indians shared the video of Arjun’s bowling on YouTube with an interesting caption.

Kishan, who was the most expensive buy of the IPL mega auction, had no chance to handle the yorker.

The fans have started demanding the inclusion of Arjun in the MI XI. Arjun, who has been a part of the MI squad as a net bowler for the last few years, was first picked in the auction in IPL 2021. He was again added to the team in the mega auction this year for ₹30 lakh.
