Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer picked his Best XI of the 15th season.

Team India’s famous top-order has failed in IPL 2022, barring KL Rahul, the only batter from the top 3 to be a part of the Orange Cap race. Virat Kohli, captain Rohit Sharma, and Ishan Kishan have had an ordinary season that has put the Men in Blue in a spot of bother leading up to the T20 World Cup in Australia.

Former India player Wasim Jaffer has named the top-order contenders for the global event.

“I feel KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma will surely open for the team. Prithvi Shaw should be in the World Cup T20 squad and the selectors should also consider Ruturaj Gaikwad. I know he has been inconsistent in the ongoing season but he is one of the best talents. These four openers from the IPL must be there”, said Wasim Jaffer while speaking to CricTracker.

Rahul has scored 451 runs from 11 matches at an average of 50.11 and a strike rate of 145.02, including two centuries and as many half-centuries.
