Virat Kohli’s form has become a concern for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Team India. He has been going through the worst phase of his career since making his debut in 2008. The 33-year-old had a one-ball stay at the crease during the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022.
He registered a second consecutive golden duck in the 15th season, having got dismissed without troubling the scorers against Lucknow Super Giants in the previous game as well. Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan, a fan of Virat’s batting, wants the champion player to completely switch off from cricket until the next match of his franchise.
“I am not saying he should take a break from cricket as it won’t solve the problems. He should switch off from the game completely till the next game of RCB. Virat shouldn’t touch the bat and keep himself away from watching matches of the other franchises. This would help him come back to form,” said Irfan Pathan.
