Despite not being at his best, Virat Kohli stated that the current phase of his career is his happiest, and he is not bothered by people’s perceptions of him.
Kohli has scored 309 runs in 14 innings with the help of just two half-centuries in IPL 2022. The 33-year-old accumulated 73 in the last game against Gujarat Titans and was named the Man of the Match for his effort. But even the match-winning innings against GT won’t end the talks of his struggles in the 15th season of the cash-rich league.
He has made a big statement on his retirement from all forms of cricket. “I still have the same drive, and my drive wil never die down. The day my drive goes away, I will not be playing cricket,” he said.
RCB ended their season on 16 points from 14 games and need the results of other games to go their way to qualify for the playoffs.
