Virat Kohli never arrived in the form during the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League.

Virat Kohli added another unwanted chapter to his cricket career. The legendary batter, who was once leading the batting charts, is finding it hard to get off the mark these days.

In a match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2022, he was dismissed on a third golden duck of the season. Jagadeesha Suchith sent him back to the pavilion on the first delivery of the contest.

The 33-year-old is the first top-order batter to score atleast three ducks in two different IPL seasons. He achieved a similar feat in 2014 as well. However, his performance didn’t impact RCB as the team won the game by 67 runs.

Batting first, the Bangalore-based team scored 192/3 with Faf du Plessis (73 not out), Rajat Patidar (48), Glenn Maxwell (33) and Dinesh Karthik (30) making useful contributions with the bat.

Bowlers were too on the mark and defended the score easily against the Kane Williamson-led franchise. Wanindu Hasaranga took 5 wickets while Josh Hazlewood added two scalps.
