Delhi Capitals (DC) batter Rovman Powell has claimed that he can break Liam Livingstone’s record of 117-meter six in IPL 2022. The contest between Delhi and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) saw some towering sixes.

Nicholas Pooran hit a 108-meter boundary while Aiden Markram smashed the ball to a distance of 103 meters. Powell struck a 104-meter six during his 67-run knock.

Powell believes he can hit a 130-meter six. “I think I can break the 117-meter record of Liam Livingstone. I told Mandeep that I am going to hit the ball close to the 130-meter mark. Let’s see how it goes.”

The record for the longest six in IPL is with Albie Morkel. He hit Pragyan Ojha for a 125-meter six in the inaugural season of the Indian Premier League in 2008.
