Former England captain Michael Vaughan feels that Rohit Sharma needs to take a break from cricket

Rohit Sharma went quiet for a while when asked to list out the reasons behind Mumbai Indians’ losing streak in IPL 2022. He felt there was nothing new to say as the team failed in all the departments of the game.

“I have nothing new to say as we did not play good cricket. There was a time when we were in the game, but the needless run-out spoiled the plans. Look, run-outs are part and parcel of the game, and I cannot blame one individual. Nothing is working for us at the moment,” he said.

The 34-year-old lauded the top performers of the side. Suryakumar Yadav and Dewald Brevis were among the runs, but their knocks went in vain. “I do not want to take away the credit from the guys who gave their 100 percent. They kept us in the game, but it was not our day. We will sit together and try to find out how to come back into the league,” he added.
