All is not well between Ravindra Jadeja and Chennai Super Kings. It seems Jadeja will not play for the four-time champions in the tournament. The sources close to Jadeja have informed InsideSport that the leading Indian all-rounder is ‘upset and very hurt’ with the management of the franchise.
“Jadeja is upset and hurt. The captaincy issue could have been handled better. Everything was sudden and abrupt. Anyone would get hurt by how things panned out,” said a source close to Ravindra Jadeja.
When asked if the injury was the reason for Jadeja to pull out of IPL 2022, the source refused to make a direct comment.
“I don’t want to say much on this. Yes, he was injured, but I am not aware of the seriousness of his injury,” added the source.
