He added 210 runs for the opening wicket with KL Rahul, who accumulated an unbeaten 68 off 51, laced with 4 sixes and 3 fours. The southpaw broke his own captain’s all-time record in the tournament.

The South African player now holds the record of the highest individual score by a wicket-keeper in the cash-rich league.
