Virat Kohli was not at his best, and RCB needed him like they do every season.

Virat Kohli is going through the worst time of his career, and despite trying his best, the former skipper has failed to score runs consistently. The IPL 2022 is the latest tournament in the long list of his never-ending failures since 2019.

However, the legendary cricketers are not ready to give up on the veteran batter and continue to back him. Wasim Jaffer is the latest personality who has come out to support the 33-year-old.

He feels nobody is even close to Virat, and one bad tournament and a few low scores cannot define a player like him.

“Virat Kohli is the legend of the game. He has 20000+ runs and 70 hundreds in international cricket; nobody to close to him. One bad tournament few low scores cannot define a great and legend player. I’m sure he will come back soon,” he told Crictracker.

He has not scored a hundred since 2019 and has registered two golden ducks in the 15th season of the cash-rich league.
