Former India player Deep Dasgupta has predicted that MS Dhoni might not play all the games in IPL 2022. The 40-year-old recently resigned from captaincy of the four-time champions and handed over the captain’s armband to Ravindra Jadeja.
“I was expecting this to happen I don’t think it came out of the blue. Because in my head, I am certain that Dhoni will skip games in the 15th season and that’s why he took the decision,” he told Sportskeeda.
He further opined that Dhoni would have dropped a hint to Jadeja previously about his intention of leaving the captaincy.
“MS Dhoni would’ve informed Jadeja about his plans. He would’ve have given clarity to everyone around him in terms of what his plans are and also as a captain of the squad,” he added.
