Mohammed Shami, who has been successful for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022, has revealed the reason behind his success.
“In T20 cricket, the bowlers look for variations to take wickets but according to me it is about bowling in the right areas. That’s always my game plan,” he said.
“The white ball doesn’t swing after few overs so it is my plan to take wickets with the new ball.
“You can say it is about experience. It is important to bowl right line and length. You keep thinking many things in T20 format,” he added.
He said his team’s bowling unit has done well in the tournament. “It is about doing well in powerplay overs.”
He is excited to comeback to the ground where he made his debut. “You are always pumped up to bowl in front of the Eden crowd.”
Shami is not worried about Jos Buttler’s threat, who has scored 3 hundreds in the ongoing season.
