Former India batter Mohammad Kaif praised Kuldeep Yadav for his brilliant bowling against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2022. Kuldeep was added to the squad by the Delhi Capitals and was given his debut cap on March 27 against Mumbai Indians.
In just his first game for DC, Kuldeep registered bowling figures of 3/18 and was declared Man of the Match. The 27-year-old impressed everyone, and Kaif said that the DC team management would have to look after the spinner closely, as he tends to lose confidence if he doesn’t play regularly.
“He is a proven match-winner but needs to be managed well. He gets emotional if he isn’t given the bowling or dropped from the playing XI,” he told Sportskeeda.
Speaking of how KKR treated Kuldeep, the 41-year old said: “The way he was treated at KKR when Dinesh Karthik and Eoin Morgan were the captains, he was kept out of the team. When you behave like this, any player can feel the pressure.”
