Mukesh Ambani-owned Mumbai Indians have released the names of their new franchises for the newly inducted T20 league in UAE and South Africa.

The IPL 2022 game between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings was played on a spicy pitch with a lot of movement and swing for the fast bowlers. Bowling first, MI bowlers took full advantage of the favourable conditions and dismissed CSK on a score of 97.

Chasing 98, Mumbai would have thought of completing the proceedings without much of a hardwork, but Chennai bowlers troubled them from the start. They, too, lost early wickets, with Mukesh Choudhary proving to be the best bowler for the Yellow Army.

He took three wickets, but the five-time champions won the game by five wickets. For MI, Daniel Sams was the pick of the bowlers as he got rid of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway and Moeen Ali.

Rohit was pleased to see help for the bowlers and appreciated the pitch. “It is nice to see help for the bowlers in a tournament dominated by the batters. The ball swung and moved, which kept the batters under control. The track was spicy, and it was nice to see such a wicket on offer,” said Rohit
