KL scored 79 0ff 58 balls, but leading cricket experts slammed his strike rate of 136.20.

KL Rahul was thrilled after his team registered a close win over Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022. After restricting the Capitals to 149/3 in 20 overs, Lucknow Super Giants played smart cricket, with Quinton de Kock playing a match-winning knock of 80 runs.

The last few overs brought Delhi back into the game but calm and composed Ayush Badoni hit a four and six to seal the game in his team’s favor.

During the post-match presentation ceremony, when Rahul was asked about young Ayush, the 29-year old lauded the player but refused to give him all the credit.

“He is exciting to watch and would learn a lot as the league progresses. It was a team effort, and I can’t give him all the credit. All the players played their roles, and we won because of the combined effort of the team members,” said KL Rahul.
