Virat Kohli next IPL franchise
Virat's campaign ended with another failure of not winning the title.

Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen slammed the critics for targeting Virat Kohli over his poor form. Virat has scored 119 runs from eight matches in IPL 2022.

Apart from his 41* and 48 against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and the Mumbai Indians (MI), respectively, the 33-year-old has been dismissed cheaply. In fact, the leading run-scorer in the IPL has registered two back-to-back golden ducks,

Kohli got out to left-arm pacer Marco Jansen during RCB’s match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Mumbai. Aiden Markram took his catch at the second slip.

Pietersen has backed Virat, saying every great player has gone through tough times.

Pietersen took to Twitter and wrote, “You want a fact? Every great of our game has been through what Virat is going through. Want another fact? They all get through it and deliver on the big stage again.” In 215 matches, Kohli has scored 6402 runs with five centuries.
