Jos Buttler was on fire against Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022. The right-handed batter hit his third century of the ongoing season. His 116 runs came off 65 balls, with the help of 9 fours and the same number of sixes.
He is the first player to cross 450 runs in the 15th season and also equalled Wasim Jaffer’s long-standing record.
According to famous statistician Kausthub Gudipati, Buttler is the second player after Jaffer to score a hundred on all these Mumbai grounds in top-tier cricket (Wankhede, Brabourne, DY Patil).
After Shikhar Dhawan, the 31-year-old England player is the second player to accumulate back-to-back hundreds in one IPL season.
