Jos Buttler came out blazing all guns while chasing 193 in a match between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans.

Buttler is the current Orange Cap holder, having scored 272 runs in just 5 matches. He has a strike rate of 152.80 and has hit 1 hundred and 2 fifties so far.

He amassed 54 off 24 balls with the help of 8 fours and 3 sixes. The opening batter of Rajasthan now has the highest IPL score for a batter who has been dismissed in the powerplay.

Buttler surpassed KL Rahul, who had scored 51 against Delhi Capitals in 2018.

Meanwhile, GT won the match by 37 runs and have reached the top of the points table with four wins from 5 games in the 15th season.

Earlier, Gujarat scored 192/5, with captain Hardik Pandya smashing an unbeaten 87 off 52 balls. Chasing 193, Rajasthan managed just 155/9 in 20 overs. Lockie Ferguson and Yash Dayal took three wickets each in the game.
