Yuzvendra Chahal has been in great form for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. He is the highest wicket-taker in the ongoing edition, with 26 scalps in 14 matches.
His performance is one reason why RR have made it to the playoffs. The 31-year-old was earlier associated with Royal Challengers Bangalore for years, but the franchise didn’t retain him ahead of the mega auction in Bengaluru.
The champion bowler wants to take on his former franchise in the tournament’s finale.
“I would like to play the final match against RCB in this IPL,” he said. Rajasthan is currently taking on Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 1 at Eden Gardens. The winner of the contest will qualify for the finale, while the losing team will get another chance to book their place in the most important contest.
RCB will clash with Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator of this year’s competition.
