Saha is the first wicketkeeper to affect 4 or more dismissals in an innings twice in the same IPL season.

Senior wicketkeeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha has performed well for new franchise Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.

He replaced Matthew Wade in the playing XI and has played some important knocks. His half-century against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) set up a big chase.

Saha has been a part of the league since 2008 and can play attacking cricket when needed. Speaking to a set of journalists recently, Saha said, “I have always liked shorter formats. It is true that I don’t have a body like Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, and [MS] Dhoni Bhai but I have the skills to score runs at a quicker pace. I have done this consistently.”

Saha further said that his best is yet to come. “So far, I think I have delivered 50-60 percent of my potential. I will try to score heavily in the upcoming matches.”
