Yuzvendra Chahal is looking forward to winning the IPL 2022 final against Gujarat Titans.

Yuzvendra Chahal has been dealing in wickets in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The leg-spinner has taken 24 wickets so far and holds the Purple Cap. He hasn’t hidden his intention of batting up the order in the tournament.

After eyeing a spot with Jos Buttler for Rajasthan Royals, Yuzi has jokingly spoken about Virat Kohli’s record of most runs in one season of the cash-rich league. The former RCB skipper had accumulated 973 runs in 2016.

Speaking after the game against Lucknow Super Giants, Chahal said he can score 10 hundreds in 10 matches of the league.

“If I had a chance to open, I would have broken every record, not just Jos Buttler. Even Virat Kohli bhaiya’s record 973 runs would be left. I will break that record in 10 matches because I have scored 10 hundreds,” he said.

Rajasthan have 16 points from 13 games, and they need to avoid a heavy defeat in the last game to qualify for the playoffs. On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants have the same scenario to make it to the knockouts of the ongoing season.
