Royal Challengers Bangalore’s pacer Harshal Patel has provided a major update on his injury. He was injured during the IPL 2022 match against the Gujarat Titans and said it wouldn’t take much longer to get well, and he will be back into action if the franchise qualifies for the knockout stage. Though RCB won the game against the Hardik Pandya-led team, there was no update on the return of the pacer.
Patel split the webbing of his right hand and was taken to the dressing room to have the webbing patched.
‘When I caught that ball on short extra cover, I split my webbing on the right hand. I got a couple of stitches which would be removed in three to four days. If RCB make it to the playoffs, I will be ready to play in the important match,” Patel told the RCB website.
