Captain Hardik Panday was lauded by many for his leadership style.

Hardik Pandya has come back with a bang after being sidelined for months due to fitness issues. Leading Gujarat Titans, he has been at the top of his game and contributed with the bat and ball. Hardik is batting up the order and is regularly bowling in the powerplay overs. 

He scored the highest score of his captaincy career in the latest game against Rajasthan Royals. When he arrived at the crease, the Titans were in a spot of bother, but Pandya scored an unbeaten 87 off 52 balls and took the team to 192/4 in 20 overs.

As a captain, the 28-year-old is the four highest run-getter in the list of the most IPL runs in the first five IPL innings.

He has amassed 228 runs and surpassed Virender Sehwag, who scored 207 runs. 

KL Rahul, with 302 runs, holds the number one spot while Kane Williamson has the second rank, having accumulated 230 runs.
