Harbhajan Singh has warned Nicholas Pooran, who is with Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022. The left-handed batter was bought for more than INR 10 crore but failed to justify his selection in the opening match of the 15th season.
Punjab Kings did not retain Pooran because of his poor batting display for the franchise.
Bhajji said Pooran has few games to prove his worth; otherwise, the management would bench him for the remaining games.
“Pooran is under the scanner after failing in the opening game of the 15th season. If he fails in the upcoming games, the management will drop him for the entire season. He had a miserable season with Punjab Kings and was released by the franchise ahead of the mega auction. Pooran is lucky to have earned a massive amount in the auction considering his record in the league.”
