The CSK players were poor on the field as captain Ravindra Jadeja dropped two catches.

On Thursday evening, Chennai Super Kings were impressive against Mumbai Indians at the DY Patil Stadium. The four-time champions took wickets from the start, dismissing Rohit and Ishan Kishan on 0 after CSK asked MI to bat first.

However, the CSK players were poor on the field as captain Ravindra Jadeja dropped two catches. The first incident happened in the final delivery of the second over bowled by Mitchell Santner. Dewald Brevis was given a chance when Jadeja dropped a catch.

Brevis, however, failed to score heavily and was dismissed on 4.

Jadeja dropped another catch in the 12th over, bowled by Santner. MI debutant Hrithik Shokeen was given a lifeline by the CSK skipper.

Former CSK captain MS Dhoni missed an easy stumping opportunity. CSK dropped four catches in total, with Santner and Dwayne Bravo being the other two culprits.
