Wriddhiman Saha is miffed with Cricket Association of Bengal and the veteran called the Motera Stadium his new home ground. Surprisingly, he played all his life at the famous Eden Gardens. He returned to the place where he made a dream debut in 2007. Saha won’t play for the state team after a run-in with association.

Saha is seeking an exit from the Bengal domestic cricket after a CAB official questioned his commitment for state team.

“I am part of Gujarat Titans so my home ground is Motera Stadium. I am no longer playing for KKR so Eden is not my home,” Saha said in a virtual media interaction.

Not a single match of IPL 2022 hasn’t been played in Ahmedabad till now. Asked whether he would be seen playing for Bengal at the Eden again, the 37-year-old said: “I am not able to answer the second part of your question. I have played a lot of games at the Eden but I’m here to play an away game,” Saha said.
