The e-auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) media rights for the 2023-2027 cycle has produced some astoundingly insane bids.

Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans face each other in match number 62 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season on Sunday. CSK have lost eight and won four games from 12 appearances. GT have already reached the playoff stage, securing nine wins from 12.

Analysis of CSK

CSK need to finish the season on a better note after being inconsistent. The 2021 champions will look up to openers Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad for some valuable runs. They hold the key for the four-time champions. MS Dhoni can be useful in the middle-order in terms of finishing games. Ambati Rayudu, who has announced his retirement from IPL, will look to sign out with a bang. Shivam Dube has a crucial job in front of him.

With the ball, CSK have Mukesh Choudhary, who has picked 16 wickets this season. Dwayne Bravo has bowled well, claiming 16 scalps as well. Maheesh Theekshana has been laudable as well. CSk need a response after a telling defeat versus MI in the last game.

Analysis of GT

The Hardik Pandya-led Titans have been superb so far. They have already made it to the playoffs. GT will want to end the league stage on a strong note. They have the resources to get the job done. Shubman Gill has scored plenty of runs, and the likes of David Miller and Rahul Tewatia deserve plaudits for their match-winning roles. Hardik Pandya will aim to score valuable runs as well.

The bowling of GT is strong. Mohammed Shami is upbeat and hungry. Rashid Khan is their trump card, and he can be used well. Yash Dayal has done an impressive job as well. GT have a quality attack and can test CSK.

Head-to-head record

The two teams met earlier this season, with GT enjoying a valuable victory. Miller played a match-winning knock.
