Former India player Aakash Chopra reckons all is not well in the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) camp in IPL 2022. He made the statement after the recent controversy over Ravindra Jadeja and Ambati Rayudu.
Jadeja had already left the bio-bubble amid reports of a rift between him and the team management over the captaincy matter. The defending champions stated that Jadeja had suffered a rib injury. On Saturday, Rayudu stunned fans when he announced his retirement from the Indian Premier League.
However, he took a U-turn and deleted the tweet. Chopra said on-field, as well as off-field woes, have marred the franchise.
“Ravindra Jadeja left the bio-bubble, and then Ambati Rayudu announced retirement before deleting the tweet. All doesn’t seem well in the camp.”
Earlier, Rayudu took to social media to bid adieu to the league. “I am happy to announce that this will be my last ipl. I have had a wonderful time playing it and being a part of 2 great teams for 13 years. Would love to sincerely thank Mumbai Indians and Csk for the wonderful journey…”
