Rajasthan Royals bowed out of the ongoing edition of Indian Premier League following a disappointing 60-run defeat at the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday at the Dubai International Stadium.

Batting first, KKR managed to score 191 runs against SRH. All thanks to Eoin Morgan’s unbeaten knock of 68 runs in 35 deliveries. In reply, Royals saw the quick fall of wickets as none of their batsmen managed to put any fight against KKR’s strong bowling attack.

After losing to KKR, Archer took to his Twitter and posted an inspirational message. He shared one of his pictures from IPL 2020 and wrote, “We come back stronger.”

While most of the RR player failed to deliver their best in this season, England pacer Jofra Archer stood out with his stellar performances once again. He finished with 20 wickets from 14 matches and is currently 3rd in the bowling charts.

Skipper Steve Smith also pointed out that Jofra Archer and Rahul Tewatia were the real positives for Royals in this season.

“Couple of real positives. Jofra has been exceptional pretty much every game.”

“Unfortunate way to end. We started off really well, won the last two before this one. In the middle, we lost our way. Our batters, the top four or five didn’t take responsibility perhaps,” added smith.
