Saqib Mahmood stunned India in just one over in the fourth T20I in Pune. He dismissed three batters in six balls to silence the crowd. Sanju Samson, who scored just 1 run, was the first one to depart. He tried to hit a six but was caught at the deep square leg.
On the second ball of the over, Tilak Varma tried to go for a big shot, but the ball landed in the hands of Jofra Archer. Although India captain Suryakumar Yadav managed to avoid a hat-trick, he was sent back on the final delivery. He didn’t trouble the scorers and his catch was grabbed by Brydon Carse at short mid-on.

Saqib didn’t play the three games in Kolkata, Chennai, and Rajkot, but the team management decided to give him a chance in the fourth contest. He replaced Mark Wood, who was rested to manage his workload.
For the Men in Blue, Samson, and SKY have become a concern as the two are struggling with the bat. Tilak, who was looking in good touch in the last few months, gifted his wicket to the rivals. His dismissal was questioned by Nick Knight, who was surprised with his shot selection.
