Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper, is in England to participate in the World Cup. He took to twitter to congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his historical triumph in the Lok Sabha Elections. The ruling Bhartiya Juanita Party won more than 300 seats across India.

“Congratulations @narendramodi ji. We believe India is going to reach greater heights with your vision. Jai hind,” Kohli tweeted.

Men in Blue are one of the favourites to win the coveted title. India won its maiden World Cup title in 1983 while the second one came in 2011, where India defeated Sri Lanka in the finale.
