Popularly known as the “Queen of Cricket,” Smriti Mandhana is currently in red-hot form in her career. Her performances have been so exceptional that she has now surpassed her own benchmarks.
In the fourth T20I match played between India and Sri Lanka on Sunday, Smriti played a sensational knock of 80 runs off 48 balls. With this innings, she became the fastest batter in international cricket to reach 10,000 runs.
Not only that, Smriti has also broken her own world record. In the year 2025, she has already piled up 1,703 runs in just 32 matches. In doing so, she bettered her 2024 record. Last year, Mandhana had created a world record by scoring 1,659 runs in 35 matches, the most runs by a player in a single calendar year.
Smriti Mandhana still has the fifth and final T20 match against Sri Lanka to play. Talking about the match, India defeated Sri Lanka by 30 runs.
