Indian cricket team’s legendary batter Rohit Sharma was recently removed from the ODI captaincy. However, he has still been selected for the three-match ODI series against Australia on their upcoming tour.
Now, ahead of the series, Rohit has broken his silence. On Sunday, the “Hitman” attended the CEAT Awards function in Mumbai, where he looked slim, fit, and dashing. During the event, he was also honored with a special award for leading Team India to victory in the ICC Champions Trophy earlier in March.
At this special ceremony, Rohit Sharma also spoke about the upcoming Australia tour. The right-handed batsman said that he loves playing against Australia.
“I really enjoy going there. People in Australia love cricket, and I also enjoy playing cricket in Australia,” said Rohit.
However, when it came to the topic of being removed from the captaincy, Rohit chose to remain silent and did not make any comment on the issue.
