The relationship between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Virat Kohli is quite old. Now, this relationship may see the addition of another big connection. In fact, Virat Kohli’s wife, Anushka Sharma, has also reportedly entered the RCB setup.
According to media reports, Anushka Sharma is interested in buying a stake in the RCB franchise. It is being said that she wants to invest ₹400 crore to acquire a 3 percent stake in the team. On the other hand, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is also looking to purchase a 2 percent stake in the franchise, for which he would need to invest ₹300 crore.
The RCB franchise is reportedly ready to sell stakes, but there has been no official confirmation yet on whether Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor will actually go ahead with the purchase. However, the market is abuzz with speculation.
If Anushka Sharma does end up buying a stake in RCB, the franchise’s valuation could increase even further due to its association with Virat Kohli.
