India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav is celebrating his 34th birthday on September 14. His wife Devisha Shetty shared photos on Instagram, wishing her partner.
Devisha and Suryakumar tied the knot in 2016.
“Happy happy birthday to my best friend, husband, lover, my world and the best decision of my life! Thankful for you every single day❤❤ you make this world a better place and I don’t know what I’d do without you❤❤ love you now and forever ❤❤❤🧿🧿🧿🌍,” he wrote.
Suryakumar Yadav played for India in three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka
Suryakumar Yadav started his captaincy stint with a 3-0 win over Sri Lanka. He led the Men in Blue from the front and was named Player of the Series for his impresive batting display against the Island Nation.
In IPL 2024, he amassed 345 runs at an average of 34.20 for Mumbai Indians. He also smashed a hundred in the 17th season.
SKY accumulated 199 runs in eight matches of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. He took a brilliant catch of David Miller in the final as India defeated South Africa by 7 runs to lift the trophy in the West Indies and the USA.
After Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from T20Is, Suryakumar Yadav was appointed Team India’s captain in the shortest format.
He is currently out of action due to an injury and is expected to return for the T20I series against Bangladesh starting October 6.
