Jaker Ali Anik is a talented Bangladeshi wicketkeeper-batter, known for his composure and finishing abilities. He made his first-class debut in 2016 for Sylhet Division, impressing with 88 runs in his first innings. He was part of Bangladesh’s squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup and made his List A debut the following year. His domestic performances, especially in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), earned him a place in the national team.
Ali made his T20I debut during the 2024 Asian Games, helping Bangladesh secure a bronze medal. He soon became a regular in the T20I setup, scoring his maiden T20I fifty against Sri Lanka.
