Lungi Ngidi, known as the Gentle Giant, is a right-arm fast-medium bowler for South Africa. He made his Test debut in 2018, taking five wickets against India. Ngidi has played for various teams and is known for his speed and imposing stature. He was named ODI and T20I cricketer of the year in 2020. Ngidi is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Industrial Sociology at the University of Pretoria.
