JUSTIN LANGER BIO


Justin Langer is a former Australian cricketer and current coach, renowned for his role as a gritty left-handed opening batsman. He played 105 Tests and 8 ODIs for Australia, amassing 7,696 Test runs at an average of 45.27, including 23 centuries. Langer formed one of the most successful opening partnerships in Test history with Matthew Hayden.

After retiring, he transitioned to coaching, leading Western Australia, Perth Scorchers (winning three BBL titles), the Australian national team (winning the 2021 T20 World Cup and retaining the Ashes), and was appointed head coach of the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL in 2023
