Dishant Yagnik, a left-handed wicketkeeper-batsman from Banswara, Rajasthan, was known for his aggressive batting and quick reflexes behind the stumps. Hailing from a tribal belt, he debuted in first-class cricket for Rajasthan in 2004–05. He gained recognition for a last-ball six off Sourav Ganguly in a 2006 Deodhar Trophy match. Yagnik played in the Indian Cricket League (ICL) before joining the IPL with Rajasthan Royals in 2011, where he was a reliable wicketkeeper and occasional hard-hitting batsman. He retired from professional cricket in 2017 after a 13-year domestic career and transitioned to coaching, becoming the fielding coach for Rajasthan Royals.
