India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer Dhanashree Verma have tied the knot in Gurugram on Tuesday. Sharing some of the adorable pictures with her husband, Dhanashree wrote, “22.12.20! We started at “Once upon a time” and found “Our happily ever after,” coz’ finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity & beyond!!”
Meanwhile, Chahal also took to his official Instagram handle to post the “engagement day” photos with Dhanashree.
The caption of the post reads, “Everything was just so beautiful Engagement day #DhanaSaidYuz.”
Soon after the bowler uploaded the photos, fans flooded the internet with best wishes.
The cricketing fraternity, led by West Indian great Brian Lara, also congratulated the newlyweds on social media.
Reacting to Chahal’s engagement pictures, Lara commented, “Congrats!!! Just beautiful.”
The couple made their relationship official after a Roka ceremony in August earlier this year.
Chahal then flew to UAE for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League. The 30-year-old was the pick of the Indian bowlers in the IPL 2020. He finished the tournament with 21 wickets in 15 games at an economy rate of 7.08. The spinner was last seen in action during the limited-overs series against Australia.
While Chahal managed to take one wicket in the three-match ODI series, he bagged four in the shortest format of the game. He is not a part of India’s Test set-up for the ongoing four-match series against Tim Paine-led side.
