Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan recently distributed solar lights to the underprivileged people in Bakrol village in Ahmedabad.
The 36-year-old on Wednesday took to his official Twitter handle and shared a video in which he and his brother Yusuf Pathan can be seen helping the people of the village.
Captioning the post, Irfan wrote, “We went to this village called bakrol. There were about 25 houses that had relatively low electricity cos those houses were secluded.
“Ratan Kaka called those ppl (people) at his house and we distributed these solar lights to them, it was a fulfilling experience. #pathanfoundation,” he added.
This is not the first time when the duo came forward to lend a helping hand to the needy ones.
Earlier, during the COVID-19 lockdown in India, Irfan and Yusuf donated masks, food packages, and other essential items among those who were adversely impacted by the pandemic.
