Yuzvendra Chahal is Team India’s number one spinner in white-ball cricket. The champion tweaker has played under Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s captaincy.
They have widely used him for taking wickets, and he has hardly disappointed. Talking about the similarities between Virat and Rohit, Chahal lauded his two teammates.
“The captaincy of Rohit Sharma bhaiya and Virat Kohli bhaiya is the same. Both back and support the bowlers. Both back your plans in the field. Both look at me as a wicket-taking option,” he told Sports Yaari.
Chahal will be making a comeback with the Asia Cup 2022 after being rested for the T20Is against West Indies. Yuzi was also not included in the side for the ongoing three-match ODI series in Zimbabwe.
