Yuzvendra Chahal was not included in the T20 World Cup squad, which not only surprised his fans but was not taken lightly by the cricket experts. According to many, he should have been in the team considering his record in the shortest format of the game.
In the Indian Premier League 2021, Chahal took four wickets from seven matches in the first leg. During his recent conversation with former cricketer, Aakash Chopra, Chahal revealed the role played by his wife during his tough period.
“I see people’s messages, it feels good to be loved. It’s your closest ones that pick you up when you are down,” Chahal told Chopra on his YouTube channel.
His wife, Dhanashree, termed his poor form as a rough patch and added that a bowler can’t take wickets every day.
He is looking forward to the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League. The ace spinner is a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore and will be keen to perform well for his franchise.
