Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh has gained significant attention for his comment on fellow player Shubman Gill’s recent photo. Gill, who had a successful IPL 2023 season, failed to score in the World Test Championship 2023 Final against Australia. He recently decided to take some time off the field.
During the FA Cup final at London’s Wembley Stadium, Gill was accompanied by former Indian captain Virat Kohli and Mumbai Indians star Suryakumar Yadav. Manchester City emerged victorious in a thrilling match against their rivals, Manchester United, securing their second trophy of the season.
Gill recently shared a post on social media, featuring himself alongside Manchester City stars Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland. In the post, he congratulated them on their team’s triumph in the UEFA Champions League.
However, the focus quickly shifted to a comment made by Yuvraj Singh, who happens to be Gill’s mentor. Yuvraj playfully teased Gill by writing, “I thought u were a PSG fan?”
Yuvraj Singh was not the only one to poke fun at Gill. His teammate from Punjab Ranji also joined in, commenting on the post, “Bro, your team changes every day #nostand.”
It is well-known that Gill is a football enthusiast. Last year, he was spotted at a Chelsea match, showing his support for the French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain.
