The 19-year old spoke about three qualities he wants to take forward from his inspiration Virat Kohli.

India U-19 skipper Yash Dhull has led the team from the front in the ongoing World Cup. His performance has made coach Pradeep Kochar a proud man. The Boys in Blue will take on England in the tournament’s finale.

Kochar, who trained Yash Dhull at Airliner Academy at Bharati College in New Delhi, is impressed with the way his ward has led the team and even stated that Dhull will be the next MS Dhoni of India.

In an EXCLUSIVE interview with DNA, he revealed the qualities of the young player and how he is similar to MSD.

“His knock of 110 in the semi-final against Australia was phenominal. He did well in the semis and the league stage,” said Kochar.

“Dhull is very good at playing the pull and cut shots. Overall, he is a talented batter. Yash is calm on the field like Dhoni, and he will be next Dhoni in terms of leadershuip. He makes his strategies according to the situaion,” he added.

Meanwhile, Kochar gave some suggestions to the team ahead of the mega final.

“Play as a team and listen to coaches and implement that on the field.”
