Overview:
India captain Harmanpreet Kaur remains the record-holder for the highest individual score by an Indian batter in the league.
The WPL’s journey since 2023 has been defined by moments of individual excellence, particularly through impactful batting efforts.
Despite the Women’s Premier League still waiting for its first-ever century, the tournament has consistently delivered high-impact, match-winning innings. Batters have often produced knocks of such authority that they have effectively taken the contest away from the opposition, establishing these dominant performances as a defining feature of the league.
The WPL’s top individual score is jointly held by Sophie Devine of Royal Challengers Bengaluru and UP Warriorz batter Georgia Voll. Devine fell agonisingly short of a hundred with a 36-ball 99 against Gujarat Giants in the inaugural campaign, a feat that Voll replicated against RCB during the tournament’s third season. With WPL 2026 set to start on January 9, let’s take a look at the highest individual scores in the history of the tournament.

Chasing a stiff target of 189 set by the Gujarat Giants, Royal Challengers Bengaluru cruised through the pursuit, powered by an inspired display from Sophie Devine, who dominated the contest on the night of March 18 in 2023.
Devine, who walked out to open alongside Smriti Mandhana, dominated the pursuit with an extraordinary scoring rate, contributing the bulk of RCB’s runs. She registered nine fours and cleared the ropes on eight occasions.
Sophie Devine agonisingly missed out on becoming the WPL’s first centurion, falling just one run short of the milestone. Georgia Voll remained not out on 99 meanwhile, playing a pivotal role as UP Warriorz surged to a record-setting 225/5 on March 8 in 2025.
The second spot on the WPL’s highest individual scores table is jointly held by Australians Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney.
Pursuing a target of 139 against RCB, Alyssa Healy produced a sparkling display at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, steering UP Warriorz to a comprehensive 10-wicket win in 2023. The Australian opener stayed unbeaten but ran out of deliveries, finishing four runs shy of a century. Her 96 from 47 balls was boundary-heavy, with 78 runs coming via 18 fours and a solitary six.
Beth Mooney produced an unbeaten 96 for Gujarat Giants against UP Warriorz during the 2025 WPL season. Meanwhile, India captain Harmanpreet Kaur remains the record-holder for the highest individual score by an Indian batter in the league.
Chasing a stiff target of 191 set by the Gujarat Giants in the 2024 WPL, Harmanpreet Kaur rose to the occasion, guiding the Mumbai Indians with a commanding unbeaten 95 from 48 deliveries in 2024.
The knock was laced with 10 fours and five towering sixes, and she closed out the chase by scoring all but one of the runs needed in the final over, guiding MI home with a ball to spare.
Australian duo Tahlia McGrath and Ellyse Perry have also come close to the three-figure mark, registering scores in the 90s during their WPL appearances.
